I am sooo happy and want to share. How can "trouble" make us happy? It used to be a source of worry. When things went wrong, I used to feel that God was mad at me, that things we troublesome in my life because I had failed to please God. How not like Him and how like me that perception was. And how wrong. After years of "self help" I was trapped in a this limiting misunderstanding that took away my joy and confidence in God and myself. The readings in this study are helping me change my understanding of how God is working in our lives. He wants us to turn to Him in our trouble, to rely on Him, to invite Him in. He wants to be our source of peace. Time to say "yes." He's been waiting for a long time. Amen
